Shuffle Board: A shake of salt, a splash of skill, a little luck, a lot of strategy, and a great time! Seattle has plenty of bars with shuffleboard, and quite a few dog-friendly spots too... But did you know there are a handful of dog-friendly establishments with shuffleboard tables in the Emerald City? Sure, the absence of opposable thumbs makes your pup a poor pick for a teammate. Maybe a better choice for a cheerleader! If you ever have a hankering to play shuffleboard with your dog, here are Dog Gone Seattle's picks for the 5 Best Dog-Friendly Spots with…read more >

Four B’s – A Dog-Friendly Fremont Dive Bar!

Four B’s – A Dog-Friendly Fremont Dive Bar!

There are a few things I wonder about this spot. Is it in Fremont or Ballard? Or Frellard or Ballmont? Is it called the Ballard Grill & Ale House or the Four B's or the 4 B's? What do those B's even stand for? Well I don't know the answers to these questions. I could speculate that the B's stand for Bar, Beer, Burgers, BBQ, Booze, Basketball, Buck Hunter, Billiards... but I really can't be sure. I am sure of one thing: This place is a totally fabulous dive bar, and it's dog friendly! Bari and Aria, the Cavalier 1356read more >

Dog Friendly Brunch at the Leary Traveler

I've been to the Leary Traveler many times with the pups (and it's one of my favorite dog-friendly spots in Seattle) but I've never been there for brunch. Holy awesomeness, their brunch! Next weekend, roll out of bed and go there. Seriously, it's amazing. And of course (I wouldn't be talking about it unless) it's DOG FRIENDLY. This is not the kind of place you're going to feel awkward bringing your dog, either. Plenty of dogs present. Promise. Back to the brunch. So good. 1322read more >
